Thanks to everyone who has participated with the Mad River Valley Century Ride over the past 20 years. It is with a heavy heart that we’ve decided not continue with the Ride.

We will certainly miss the Ride and all that it entailed. The amazing new friends we’ve made over twenty years, volunteers and friends who stepped forward and helped us, and the camaraderie that we saw year after year at the pond-side BBQ!

Perhaps we’ll start the Ride again in the next few years — switch up the route a little, update and tweak a few things here and there… For now, though, we are concentrating on the Hyde Away Inn & Restaurant and our family.

We hope you’ll visit us at the Inn. There are so many wonderful spots to enjoy around our Valley. And terrific bike rides and loops. If you decide to come up with a small group, we’ll help you with routes and help to arrange support if needed.

A couple of other Centuries in the State this year to check out:

• VASS Long Trail Century in June
• Kelly Brush Century held in September

Both are close enough to the Hyde Away so you could base yourself with us!
